Learning Journal — Template

Copy one block per study session into a daily note (daily/YYYY-MM-DD.md) or your own log. Five minutes of reflection makes the lesson stick and gives the companion something to update learner-db.json from. Research-backed move: writing what clicked and what didn't is where retention comes from.

Tips

  • Write the "still fuzzy" list honestly — it becomes tomorrow's review.
  • Re-read last session's "Next session" line before you start, so you never lose the thread.
  • Once a week, skim your questions_log — recurring questions reveal a real gap.
